Sigma Eyehealth Centers is currently seeking to add a full-time Ophthalmic Technician to our dynamic medical team!

The Ophthalmic Technician completes all preliminary testing of patients, takes medical histories and enters the information in the electronic medical record system, performs special procedure testing, conveys patient information to the doctor, and follows up with patients when needed. In addition to patient care, the position may involve general healthcare office work, including answering phones, scheduling patients, chart preparation, appointment reminder calls, and general office cleaning and sanitizing.

We are searching for someone with a friendly and outgoing personality who can work well with the rest of our Sigma team to provide an exceptional experience for our patients. The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator, detail-oriented, comfortable with technology, good with time management, organized, reliable, and a true team player.

The successful candidate will work in all three of our office locations – Monticello, Anamosa, and Marion. The position requires up to two evenings per week until 6:00 p.m.; however, there are no weekend hours, and the offices close at 1:00 p.m. on Fridays.
